Surnames: Naranjo, Donid
Dear T. Rodirguez,

I'm searching for more information on the Naranjo name. My greatgrandmother's name was Maria Christina Naranjo-Penichet, daughter of Cristobal Naranjo-Donid. So far I have reached a dead end with the name Naranjo-Donid. I have no idea where the Donid name comes from, if you have any information regarding these two names, your help will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I can read Spanish but not write it, feel free to reply in Spanish if you wish.

Thanks.
Albert H.

Surnames: Naranjo, Martinez de Escobar
I'm starting to look into my last name genealogy. I have traced the name to my known relatives in Las Palmas. One odd information I came acrosss, is Adrian Naranjo Martinez de Escobar, born in Puerto Principe in 1865. I would like to know if you have any information on this individual. I know for a fact that his parents were Jose Naranjo and Adela Martinez de Escobar married on 8/15/1863
Saludos
Alvaro
