My paternal Great Grandmother was Paula Diaz she had a brother by the name of Francisco Diaz. She was born in Santo Domingo ,Las Villas,Cuba. She also had a sister by the name of Blanca (Nickname, Caruca) Diaz. I was wondering if you recognize these names.

Isis - After reading your posting on Antonio Diaz, I remembered seeing that name, so I rummaged through my Cuban documents and located a baptism certificate dated 1851 noting the Godparents of Eulalia Sabad Rosa Muzio. The godparents were: Antonio Diaz and Rosa Rosales. The church was La Iglesia Termino del Espiritu Santo de la Cuidad de la Habana. Eulalia's parents were Francisco Muzio of Cadiz, Spain and Dolores Valdes of la Habana.

I can provide a copy of this document if you wish. I'll keep digging, cause I think I have census sheets from Key West and also ship passenger logs for Antonio Diaz.
