I have some new info on my grandfather Gilberto Lopez Bosch. He was born in Artemisa, Habana on 15 Jan 1915. His parents were Jose Lopez and Carmen Bosch. He married Amelia Scott Borges around 1935. He had 2 children Isabel Lopez Scott and my father Gilberto Lopez Scott (born May 6 1943). I was told the family was from el barrio de Jesus Maria in Artemisa. I'd like to know where to find more info on Gilberto Lopez Bosch and his parents. I'm new at this and have hope that someone will give advice as to how to start my search. Thank you.

I would look for Wenceslao Bosch Puig - probably in Santiago de Cuba. he seems to be the earlier arrival. He married Juana Colas Vaillant.

Another posibility would be Javier Bosch Soler, B. 5 Jul 1909, in Manzanillo, Oriente. He married Isabel Luisa Ramis Miguel en Palma Soriano.

Once you find a marriage (parishes kept good marriage records, including the names of he parents) you can try to track the location from there.
