de BEJUCAL, in the province of Havana, Cuba. This first
ACOSTA
was probably a member of one of the 30 families who founded on May 9, 1714 the villa with don Juan Nuñez
del Castillo

ACOSTA
y BOLAN~OS, native of Orotava, Tenerife,
Canary
islands who settled in the early 1700's (I don't have more at hand).

Tengo entendido que Familias Cubanas tiene informacion sobre por lo menos tres familias
Acosta
separadas de
La
Habana.
Yo tengo tambien "de
Acosta
y
Mayor
" pero no se todavia si era otra familia separada a estas tres.
