Hello,
I was looking through the postings and saw the name Jomarron. I remembered seeing it in the info that I have on one of my family lines:
Gonzalez de
Rivera. If you are sure your family is from
Holguin in
Oriente, then I think I found the progenitor of your Jomarron line in Cuba! The info that I have comes from a genealogical study of the
Gonzalez de
Rivera line, a book written by my Great-Great-Grandfather Diego Antonio de
Avila y
Delmonte in the 1860s. I only have information pre-1860 and back to about the late 1500s on this family name. Here's the info:

MARTINEZ was born 1771 in France. He married MARIA DEL ROSARIO
DE LA CRUZ Y
SERRANO 1814, daughter of JOSE
DE LA CRUZ E INFANTE and FRANCISCA
SERRANO Y
Gonzalez DE
Rivera. She was born 1790. Maria married for a second time in 1829 which means that Luis died before that date.
