I'm looking for information for my family tree. My family imigrated to the US from CUBA in the early 60's. They are from the town of Jovellanos province Matanzas.
My great grandfather was Diego Alfonso Hernandez born c.1880 in Jaguey Grande. He was married to my great grandmother Maria Mora Perez and lived in the town of Maximo Gomez (Recreo). They had 10 children including my grandmother Andrea Alfonso.
My other great grandparents include Sabina Perez Valdez of Jovellanos who married Jose Perez of the town Agramonte and also had quite a few children (13), including my grandfather Adalberto Sotero Perez. They had a farm in the town of Carlos Rojas called Santa Sabina that had belonged to my great grandmother's father Pantaleon Torres (del Torre?)
Any information you can offer on the parents or siblings of any of these people would be appreciated.
Thank you!
