Carmita Lopez Silvero Amezaga was sister of my grandfather Juan Lopez Silvero Ona (some of the family changed their last name from Lopez Silvero to Lopez Ona) They had a total of 11 siblings:
Elias (died of tuberculosis), Cusita (died of tuberculosis), Ludgarda (never married, comited suicide), Lito (smart), Felipe (spent 20 yrs. in a Baltimore fascility), Carmita (no children married Ricardo "Dick" Amezaga y Ona...cousins?), Juan (my grandfather...married Chichita Morales), Josefina (had tuberculosis and spent 5 yrs. in Lake Placid, recovered, married Estela Morales...two brothers married two sisters), Charley and Arturo (died at age 3) I remember going to Carmita's house on Christmas day (in Cuba) where the house was always kept quite dark (uncommon in Cuba where the sun shines daily) and she and "Dick" always had THE last Christmas gift for us (therefore the most special), such as crayons.
