Did any Arango's in your line ever live in Cuba? I saw your post at the Cuba-D Digest board & then followed the link you had pasted & brought me here... I have an Arango line in my family tree... I don't know much about it's origins, except to say that my understanding is that the Arango in my tree that goes farthest back was born in Pinar De Rio, Cuba. What else do you know of yours?

What a nice surprise! I am sure that we are related. Aristides Arango Aguero (El Salvador) was my maternal grandmother's Cuban grandfather. I have information on the family back to the 1400s, and I would love to share it with you. Please note that my current email -although still active- has changed to jleiva1@optusnet.com.au You can also email me at richardleiva@optusnet.com.au or alternatively at work: Richard.

Santa Cruz, VI, p. 10.); born cir 1828.

-Los padres de Fernando:
Manuel-de-Jesús Arango y Ramírez and Ana-Isabel Agüero y Perdomo.

Esto apenas comienza.
Espera noticias mías pronto.
Abrazos,

José Ricardo Leiva Llerena
P.S.- Esta misma respuesta te va a tu casilla electrónica.
