Do land records for the Isla de la Juventud (Isle of Youth) exist for the 1920's to 1940's? I have an ancestor who supposedly purchased land there, when it was called the Isla de Pinos (Isle of Pines). It would be immensely helpful to be able to at least find this person in the index with a date.

Anyone have any ideas on this one? If they no longer exist in Cuba, would the USA have archived deed records?
