Dear Addison

Firstly, I commend you on the extensive genealogical work that you have undertaken. It is very much a passion of mine, which I have been passively working a way at for some time!

From the information I have gathered, I think I am correct in saying that your great great grandfather (John Charles Hodge, eldest son of Thomas Henry Hodge) and my great grandfather (Robert Benjamin, youngest son of Thomas Henry Hodge) were brothers.

I joined a forum before Christmas, and was in communication with someone by the name of Badminton. She told me that you might have information relating to the parents of THH. Elder family members have told me that THH was of Scottish heritage. I am interested to learn more, and willing to share all information that I have.

I understand that you believe that our African tribe name is Fanti (also spelt Fante). Again, I am interested in the supporting information you have.

With regards to AXA records, as I understand, such information was collated, since it was not known who was on the Island, at a time when slavery was being abolished.

In the meantime, I thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to communicating further with you!

Much Respect

Rodney J. Hodge
