I know this is a common name. :)

My great grandfather's name was

Alfred Percibal Jones.

He was born in Barbados somewhere around the 1880s. He moved to Dominican Republic and married and died there. I know that he was a professor and that he traveled to London. But those were just from my grandmother's stories. Unfortunately, Alzheimer's got her before I started making my family tree.

I can't seem to find anything else about him. But, I believe he had other family who stayed in Barbados (although my grandmother said that it was common then for people to go to different islands).

By any chance, does anyone know more about the Jones family in Barbados?
