Looking for information on Nicholas Blake of Galway, son of John Blake Mayor of Galway (abt. 1646) arrived in Barbados about 1670/80. He was a ship's master.One of his descendants was James Blake who subsequently returned to Waterford in Ireland.. Nicholas's brother John was a sugar plantation owner in Montserrat and died in 1692. John's daughter Catherine married a Nicholas Lynch of Antigua. I am descended from Nicholas Blake and would like to trace my ancestors.
