I am also searching for family connections in Barbados. My father's last name is Nurse and my mother's maiden name is Walcott. My mother's grandfather was John Walcott. He came from Barbados to Guyana. My mother's father, Reuben Walcott, was born in 1901 in Guyana and died in 2002 in Queens, NY. My father's father was Willie Nurse, but I do not have his history. He died in 1972 in Guyana. I know that the last name Nurse is common in Trinidad and Barbados.
