Hey,
hope you get this reply. It might be a few years too late.....

My ggg grandfather was an Alexander Bott of Antigua who was a priest of the Holy Orders (Clerk of the Holy Orders). He ran a school for children of slaves on Antigua.
I think he might be related to your lot since their are a lot of Alexanders....

My Bott died in 1850 in poverty. He married an Anna von Bretton (or de Bretton, a Danish family well known on the island of St Croix). Not sure if he had any brothers or sisters...)

Alexander and Anna Bott had a daughter called Mary born around 1848 in Tortola (in St Croix Danish census). Anna Bott died in Fowey, Cornwall in 1909.

Mary married John Locke (2nd marriage) (Bank Manager of Barbados) in 1870 ?? and they lived in Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados in the 1870's, 1880 and 1890's. They had a daughter called Anna Alexandra Locke.

This is all the information I have on this side of the family, as it has taken me a long time just to research this amount of information.

Please reply.
Cheers,
Amy.
