I recently discovered my George ancestors may have migrated from Antigua to St. Vincent or the other way around. My great-grandfather was Charles George and he married Alexandrina Maud Belfon in Grenada. The two later moved to his original country--St. Vincent with their children.
Before, they married, Charles George's first wife was McYntire (spelling may be off)--until she passed away and they had two children together.
My gggrandparents were Charles George (SR) and Catherine George. They lived in Sion Hill, St. Vincent. Their children were Theophilus, "Mannie," Robertha George Sam ("Eva")(later married a Barrow), Walter and Charles. These are the only children so far I know of them having. Walter George is said to have gone to South America and not returned. Mannie lived in Panama while working on the Panama and later moved to the U.S. I think Mannie's real name was Theophilus, but have not been able to find anything supporting this except I know his son's name was Albert Theophilus George.
If you are also working on the George family tree or know something about the George family, I'd love to hear from you.
