My great grandfather Thomas was born in Presteigne
in 1850,but it also looks as though there were a
considerable number of 'Badlands' from across the
river lugg in Stapleton.
Also near Kinnerton are two farms named Badland.
Would be very interested if anyboby has any useful
information on either surname or the farms?
