Julie there are a few Saunders in the Clacton area of Essex (UK) around the early /mid 1700s onward..perhaps some travelled to Wales I suggest this because some of my Raymonds did just that!I have a link with the Clacton Saunders)..Suggest you name trawl throught Emmisons Elizabethan England(covers Essex and some suffolk..interesting reading !)
