I would be grateful if you could dheck your Monmouthshire marriage index for a Philip Jeremiah. I believe he was born in Goytre and he spent his working life in Llanover. Philip's wife was Margaret and my guess is that the marriage would have been circa 1821.
Many thanks

I'm trying to find records for the marriage of Thomas Edwards to Suzanna James. They may have been married in Pontypool, but I'm uncertain where they were married.

Thomas was born in 1783 and Suzanna in 1785 the marriage may have been between 1803- 1810. If you have this info please e-mail me

Edwards

my grandparents on my mothers side are Bevan (grandfather) & grandmother "nee Thomas" from Tredegar, South Wales, they moved to Coventry abt: 1930's. I have traced my great grandmother (mothers side) Sarah Thomas (b.1866) who married a Thomas Thomas (b.1862) at Bedwelty Parish Church, Tredegar. I am now trying to trace Sarah & Thomas's parents who I believe that the fathers may be brothers (meaning that Sarah & Thomas may be cousins). My search contains:

1. Jane Thomas to John Thomas (sarahs parents)
2. Williams Thomas to Charlotte John (Thomass parents)
3. Also my grandfathers parents who are Daniel Bevan to Emily Davis also from Tredegar;.
Its the marriage certificates for these that i am interested in as that would give me the information of their parents and so on.
If there is any information that you could supply to me with reference to Thomas, Bevan - I would appreciate it very much!

I am looking for a marriage of Evan Maddy to Margaret Watkins Maddy on 16 February 1795. The witnesses were David Davies and Edmund Jones. What I would really like to know is whether the said Evan Maddy's father was listed on the Marriage paper, and whether his name was also Evan.

My suspicion is that if his father's name was Evan and he was from Llanigon then he is my g grandfather.

I would dearly like to find this information out as I am in conversation with two American members of the same name who would also like to know if this Evan is related to them.

Do you also have any information on Edward Maddy from 1841 Census possibly Nantyglo and Aberystruth.

Thank you
