The land around Cae Peris, Llanymawddwy is owned by a descendant of John Richards - Hedd Pugh - John Richards would be his ggg grandfather - Thomas Roberts, the son of one Magdalen Richards Brynmelyn and John Roberts Llanddwywe/Pyrse - married 26 November 1851 - Thomas left the family home to move to Dinas Mawddwy - descendants of his now live in Alberta,Canada.
