My g.g. grandfather William Richards b. 1826 emigrated to Canada in 1883 following the death of his wife Alice (Jones) with his 4 children, the youngest only 6 years old. Apparently he never did master the English language and he passed away in 1911 at their homestead near Red Deer, Alberta.
Through my research, I have found that there are no direct descendants of my g.g.g. grandfather Evan and Margaret Richards left in Wales but from these 4 Welsh children there are several hundred descendants now.
