Further observations:
The birth record for Iris M. fits the marriage record: Sidney V.L.Nursey married Iris M.Price Q1 1939 in Birmingham registration district. He was born Q4 1915 in Pontypool registration district and died Q1 1974 in Birmingham registration district, being named in the death index as Sidney Vincent L.Nursey.
I cannot find the death of Iris M.Nursey down to 2007. The closest I can find is Marjorie I.Nurse who died Q3 1978 in Nottingham registration district age 63 (= born c.1915) but this is probably Marjory I.Banbury who married Harry Nurse Q1 1934 in Nottingham. However, an Iris M.Nursey married George R.Mead Q2 1980 in Birmingham registration district. Two men of this name were born in Birmingham registration district in the twentieth century: Q1 1919 and Q2 1924. This may suggest that Iris remarried after the death of Sidney. However I also fail to trace a death of an Iris M. Mead born around 1917 which seems to counter the possibility that this marriage pertains to your relative.
There are four potential births from the 1939 marriage: Leonard J. born Q1 1940 (died Q1 1940), Leonard J. born Q2 1941, Marion born Q3 1942, and David R. born Q3 1946, all born in Birmingham registration district.
Leonard J. married Patricia A.Treadwell Q2 1955 in Warwick registration district; no children traced.
Marion married Desmond J.Green Q2 1962 in Birmingham registration district; Diane A. was born Q1 1965.
David R. married Mary A.Page Q1 1962 in Wycombe registration district; children: Richard A. born Q1 1964, Mark D. born Q3 1965; Jason Charles and Tara Marie both born Q4 1969, all born Wycombe registration district.
Downstream marriages and children will probably be readily traceable thanks to distinctive surnames.
Many of these people will be alive and thanks to distinctive surnames will be traceable via services such as 192.com and also via google searches that combine names, locations and partial postcodes.
