There would be two certificates that you could get to confirm everything.

The birth of Mary Jane's sister - Elizabeth Cordelia Hopkins (initial was a C not and E) born April May June Quarter 1909 in Bridgend, Volume 11a Page 983. This would give the names of parents and hopefully Hannah's maiden name which should be Evans.

The marriage of John Hopkins to Hannah Evans in the Oct Nov Dec Quarter 1905 Bridgend Volume 11a Page 1325. This would give you Hannah's father's name and John's fathers name.

You can order these through the General Registry Office.
