I am based in Cardiff and will be able to look up any details in the local press for you. I have the period for his death as the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1955 so it should be straightforward if there was anything printed at the time. You mentioned that you think he may have been married twice but looking at the marriage index it appears that he married Edith May in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1951 in Surrey, England. The index indicates that she may have been married twice and her maiden name may have been Atkins or Treen. If i can find an obituary locally i should be able to tell you where he is buried. I will have a search and keep you posted.
