I have looked through the archives of some local publications and i have found some obituaries for John Vincent.
The first was published in the South Wales Echo on the 10th Dec 1904, and reads;
On the 10th inst, at 96 Wyndham Road, Canton, John the beloved husband of Catherine Vincent, aged 46 years.
The second was from the same publication on the 12th Dec 1904, and reads;
On the 12th inst, at 96 Wyndham Road, John Vincent (better known as Jack Straw) old brewery. Funeral Thursday 15th inst, at 3pm for New Cemetery.
