I am trying to find my gg grandfather Richard Bradshaw, I know he was in Walsall in 1851 - lost his first wife in 1859 in Merthyr. I can find his daughters working as farm servants on the 1861 census but no sign of him and his son William Henry born in 1858 in Ystrad (Mynach) . I have found a record that suggests that he was sentenced to 2 months imprisonment in October 1858 at Cardiff Quarter Sessions but I need more evidence that it is the right Richard. He reappears in the 1871 Cenus ,as does Henry I know that he remarried in 1864. There seems to be another prison sentence in 1876 and I have a record of his death in 1880 in Bridgend. Any one got any ideas where I should go tyo next?
