Hi I think I have found your family on a Passenger List going from Liverpool - arriving in New York 5 May 1907. It was Sarah Phillips and her sons David and William - they were going to stay with her sister Lizzie Rees at 66 South Fullerton Ave New Jersey. I think she was a Widow then.
On the Usa 1910 Census Sarah is 45 and living with David and William Phillips at Clinton Street Milwaukee Ward 5 Milwaukee, Wisconsin - it says she is a Widow. David and William are single. David is a Labourer in a paint works and William is a messenger on the railroad.
