Edwin Harris (Harries) married Elizabeth Yeo 27 April, 1863 in Swansea. Edwin was born in Bristol, Somerset and Elizabeth in Ilfracombe, Devon. They had nine children, all Sons. They were; James (b. 1865), Thomas (b. 1867), Edwin (b. 1868), George (b. 1870), John (b. 1872), William (b. 1874), Benjamin (b. 1875), Isaac (b. 1876) and Evan (b. 1878). The date of birth is based on census ages.
Isaac and Evan emigrated to America in 1899. Evan is my Grandfather and I have traced his life in America. I have no evidence any of the other family members emigrated.
Based on England and Wales census from 1851 to 1901, the Harris' lived in Briton Ferry or Coedfranc area. In 1901, the son Edwin, age 33 and the Grandson James were living with Edwin and Elizabeth in Coedfranc.
