Alun,
If this is your William Morgan, I'm afraid I don't know anything about him or his family. All I have is a reference to a William Morgan in some family notes. The notes also mention that references were made about William Morgan in a book called' A Short History of Caerphilly' by H.P. Richards on pages 29(I think, not too clear), 35 and 63.
My g grandmothers family were Jones' and Wilkins'. If you do find a link I would love to know about it.
