okay, since many of the older posts no one else seems to be watching anymore, I am starting a new one.

I am not only looking for my only bloodline but I am also interested in feeling out the trees of cousins etc.

I grew up not knowing alot about my dads family. either side. His dad was a Claude Dyer and his mom a Naomo Morris.

have gotten quite a bit from the american side by research of other trees but I am very interested in the links in wales, in Ireland and England.

to me, history is very important. Not in the stature etc but in wisdom and things learned,. I have no illusions here. any connection is many times removed to have any value but it is a connection in the point of history. to make history more real.

In the US we seem to have lost what history is all about. like history did not start before us. and that is wrong.

my roots began here in wales and Ireland as far as I can tell right now, of course it goes back farther than that but here is where I am right now. who were they? what were their thoughts and dreams and their lives?

so please, if anyone can give me a direction I would appreciated it. the book mentioned will not help. it deals with the Morris of NY, NJ and PA but not the ones who went to MA VA NC or SC. especially the quakers.
