Pontar daf, Wrlod Ddu, and Nantgwine addresses

Hello All,

I've found 2 or 3 locations listed as the home or birthplace of my ancestors in Vaynor Parish Church, Breconshire. I'm not sure if they are in Breconshire or not.

The first is the address of the Isaac Morgan family in 1814. The address is Pontar daf. This is the only one I seem to be able to figure out what it apparently is. There is a bridge called Pont-ar-daf now under Llwyn Onn Reservoir, near or in Cwymtaf. Can anyone verify this?

The next two locations I had very little luck. Isaac Morgan's death record in 1843 at age 66 (so b 1777) said he was of Wrlod Ddu or Dou. I can't figure this one out all. His birth record is not in Vaynor parish church records so maybe Wrlod Ddu is not in Vaynor parish. Can anyone help me on this?

The third location is the address of Morgan Meredith, Isaac Morgan's father-in-law, in 1789. The address is Nantgwine, apparently somewhere in Vaynor Parish. Any ideas?

I would greatly appreciate any help!
Tyler Grant
