My records show:
There is a matched set of records for Samuel Davies and Jane Wood in the first quarter of 1862 in the District of Westminister St. Margaret in Middlesex County - Volume 1a, p.468. Page 379 of BMD records. Have to send away for the original documents which aren’t cheap.
I was at the library today and looked at London Marriages for this year and couldn't find anything that matched. So we would need to look for a parish but I think for London it wold be still a needle in a haystack. Sending off to the registrar might give us parents' names but I'm not familiar with English records as much as Norwegian, so am not certain.
Would like to know!
