Hi Karen,

Thanks for the information. The treharne family is the one you have correctly identified, but what is Capel seion. Is it a cemetery or is it a cemetery behind a church?

My Thomas Thomas I think was born somwhere near Llangan I think. I know for a fact he was married in 1854 in Llangan but not too sure about his birth.

Further to my last message. Could not find anything to match Thomas Thomas in Glamorgan so thought would try Carmarthenshire.

Capel Seion is an Independant Chapel so assume it has a Graveyard but dont know for sure.Back to Thomas Thomas I gather you havent found him on any censues who did Thomas marry in 1854 and what wasThomass occupation and address and what was his fathers occupation if I find him with his wife in 1861or onwards will give his birthplace we can work backwards to his parents then .Let me know Best Wishes Karen

You may already have the answers to your March query, re Capel Seion. There is a graveyard behind the chapel in the village of Capel Seion nr. Aberystywth. Some of my family are buried there. Not all graves are still readable, but you may find someone who can look for you. Try the Ceredigion Archives, archives@ceredigion.gov.uk - also the National Library of Wales holds records of burials in Capel Seion from 1847-1962. They have a website but you would have to contact them to get them to do a look up for you.
