John Mackay and Christian Mackay appear to have married in Lairg on 26 December 1800. They had Murdoch and Hugh in Rogart then Merran born 1809 in Golspie then back to Lairg for George, born 1812 and Mary born 1815.
They do not appear to be on any census records so may have emigrated. Do you know any more?
