Surnames: Murray, Mackay, Mackenzie
There are no marriage certificates as such for anyone married in Scotland pre 1855. The best you can hope for is a marriage or Banns recorded by the church. These can sometimes be helpful in so far as they may tell you where the bride and groom lived but they seldom seem to give much more detail. The General Register Office in Edinburgh is now on line. If the marriage is documented it will show on there. There is a link to the GRO from my site www.highland-hearts.co.uk
