It has been a while since I did any real work on genealogy, but as summer wains here in Canada and as I spend less time on the golf course, I will be getting back to it. The names that you mention do not ring a bell, but I believe that my namesake did move to Halkirk when the family was cleared from Kildonan. I will check my records and get back to you.
