Murdoch McLeod b. abt.1776 married Effy McNicol b. abt. 1780 were married at Achnacarnin 1801. I am seeking names of their children who were all born in Assynt except for the youngest Norman who was born in Nova Scotia Canada. Other possibilities are Murdoch b.1802, Jannet b. 1804 or 1814, Kath b. 1809. I believe there may have been 8 children.
Other confirmed children are George b.1817 who married Ann McGregor in N.S and sailed to New Zealand with the Rev. Norman McLeod.
Angus b. 1819 who married Annabelle McKenzie in N.S. (my g-grandparents).
Norman "King" was born abt. 1822 in N.S and married Katherine McAskill.
Family probably left Scotland c. 1818 but I cannot find a ships passenger list, they may have been the "Frances Ann".
