James Sims was born in Campsie 1849, last found on 1871 census, and I cannot find him after this? His father was John and grandfather Ardis Sims. Rebecca Sims was one of his daughters, she married in 1859 to John Jeffrey, a widower- miner. She died in 1869 having yet another child. Ardis died in 1870.
I would love to find James and his sister Annie . My great grandmother was Mary Jane Sims who married David Baldie and remained all their lives in Glasgow. Hope to hear from you regards Anne McDougall
