Hi to the Shetland message board. All has gone quiet. Has everyone found all their ancestors?
On www.shetlandroots.org you can select 'Our Shetland' then 'Visit Shetland'. When this site loads, select the webcam on the left hand side. Use the drop-down arrow then choose Lerwick 2. You will be given a view of The Market Square through to Victoria Pier then on to Bressay. Then choose Sumburgh, this webcam moves to a different view every ten minutes.
Also on www.shetlandroots.org I have added a link to the latest project being undertaken by Shetland Sail and Film. Choose 'Mariners' then Shetland Sail and Film. There are some high quality images of Shetland, also you can follow their progress on their latest project.
