I'm trying to find more information on my Dobson family. My first relative to move slightly away from Selkirkshire was William Turnbull Dobson, birth 22/2/1830 in Melrose, Roxburghshire, Scotland. He married Isabella Ranken though I have no date for this. William was a printer's reader and also had some books published. Their children were:

George's parents were William Dobson and Isobel Easton who married 12 Nov 1768 in Selkirk. Their children were:

This is where I hit a wall. I have no information further on William or Isobel. If anyone has any more information, I would be grateful.
