I am putting together a family tree and I am trying to find out more about my mother-in-law's biological father.

His name was Robert RAINEY b. abt. early 1920's. It is believed he came from Paisley. His sister's name was Georgina RAINEY.

Robert married Isobel DONALDSON in Paisley on 5 Sep 1947, but moved to South Africa before the birth of my mother-in-law, Maureen in March 1948.

I have found the marriage details for a Robert RAINEY and Georgina GRANDAGE on Scotland's People. They were married in 1920 in Paisley, so I am hoping to confirm that these are my mother-in-law's biological grandparents.

I am hoping someone will be able to tell me more about the RAINEY family from Paisley so that I can add their details to my tree.
