Hello, I'm hopeing that someone can help me, with a problem that I have run into. I have looked on the Scots Origins record for the marriage lines of Alexnader Bethune and Margaret Dunbar 22nd November 1861 Rothes. But I have had no luck in finding them, my aunt also went to New Register House in Edinburgh, but they also could not find anything. Has anyone else run into this problem before. Also checking on another side of the family the same time period they also could not be found. Was there anything happening at that time period that could be the reason for no record of them. Does anyone have any ideas where I should search now, any help welcome.
