Wandering if anyone can look up any info on Alexander Bain (28 Jan 1849) who married Christian Lamb a brewer (death 6 MAR 1862 resided in 259 High St, Elgin, Moray). He was a weaver. Birth 14 Jan 1782 in Fodderty, Ross-shire, Scotland to a Kenneth Bain, mother is believed to be Charlotte who was 100yrs of age at her death which occurred 5 Aug 1846 in Elgin, Moray, Scotland. I can not locate any marriage for Charlotte or Kenneth.

And can anyone tell me what 259 High Street was back in that era.
