and sure enough, there R. Phemister was a 20 Lauriston Street in the postal directory, and presumably at that time on the side opposite the RC church. I kind of thought that might be the case when I walked down it.
A side question: I noticed on the map on Lauriston Place there was a building called "The Lodge".. is that where the school is today, or were they two separate places? R. Phemister, wright, was a member of the lodge as noted on his tombstone in Grange Cemetery.
