Here is all the info from two docs:

Catherine Scott was married in Melbourne, Australia in 1869, aged 17 to William Stephens Porter. The marriage certificate says she was born in Edinburgh. Her parents are John Scott (coachman) and Mary (nee Lawson).

Catherine's Death certificate in Australia is dated 1926, and her age given is 72. It also states she was originally from Edinburgh. It also says she had lived in Victoria (Australia) for 57 years. That means she came over to Australia when she was about 15 (abt 1867).

Her Death Certificate also has her parents as "Unknown". But that type of information depends on the witness who was there at the time.

I would be interested if there was any information you may use from that that would help.
