James JONES born about 1853, died June 1923 aged 70, at the time of his death he was living in Leith Street, Edinburgh (I believe this is in the Colinton District)....the death record says parents were James JONES and Ann O'NEIL ~ nothing further known about them.

James JONES married a Jane FORRESTER before 1890 because they had a daughter named Jessie JONES born 1890. Jane FORRESTER JONES died before 1914 because she is listed as desceased on her daugther Jessie's 1914 marriage.

James JONES and his daughter Jessie were living at Cockleroy, Currie in 1906 because Jessie had an illegitimate child then, I have the birth record of this child which gives Jessie's address.

Would like to find James JONES and family in census to try and find out when wife Jane [FORRESTER] died plus the names of any other children besides Jessie b.1890....

At the time daughter Jessie JONES married in 1914 she was living at Kingsknowe Farm, Slateford, Colinton, Midlothian, I'm not sure if she was still with her father.
