Looking for info on James Calder b about 1806 Edinburgh, married to Jane Paterson b about 1808 Edinburgh. They would have got married about 1827, children as follows:-

James Calder b abt 1829 Edinburgh.
Helen Paterson Calder b abt 1831 Edinburgh.
William Calder b abt 1838 Glasgow.
George Calder b abt 1844 Glasgow.
David Calder b abt 1847 Glasgow.

As you see there is some gaps so might be other children had been born and may have died before the 1851 census, they lived at 27 Carrick Street, St Georges X, Glasgow.
I don't know what year they came to Glasgow in yet.
In the 1851 census the father, James and Helen are listed as Printer Composter.

Helen married George Hamilton on the 27 Nov 1853.
