I am looking for any information about Elizabeth Brannen. She was born in 1880 in Edinburgh, Scotland, married Peter Marnoch Simpson about 1900 in Scotland, and they had 4 children; Billy in 1901 in Dundee (he died about 1905 by drowning in a river by their home), Peter Marnoch Simpson 9 July 1905 in Dundee, then they came to Canada and had Dorothy Elizabeth 19 Sept 1908 in (I think) Medicine Hat, Alberta and Jean Violet 11 Sept 1911 in (I think) Medicine Hat, Alberta. I know that Elizabeth wrote a few poetry books, my mom has one - from after Elizabeth married Peter. Elizabeth died 31 Jan 1944 in Medicine Hat and Peter (her husband) died 25 Oct 1969 in Medicine Hat - they are both buried in Hillside Cemetery in Medicine Hat. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!
