My Calders William Calder b - caithness 1830 - wife Anne Miller b- caithness 1831 moved to Edinburgh with some of their children in approx 1869 - had 2 more children -

One of their children was my GGrandfather William b- caithness 1862- he immigrated to Canada with HIS WIFE AND THEIR children in approx 1916 -
Williams siblings remained in Scotland -
Isabella b- may 27/1856 // Roberta b- may 7/1858 // Mary Ann Feb 5/1860 // Georgina Miller Calder b- July 24/1864 // John b- March 14/1867 // Edward Shearer Calder b- March 2/1870 // George Miller Calder b- Jan 10/1872
Their father age 41 died in November 1871 - just prior to George's birth !!
In the 1881 census is shows William living with his sister Isabella at 10 Yeaman St Edinburgh -

I don't know what happened to their mother after her husbands death in 1871 - she still had young children at that time -
