Am not sure if I have the right family. The only information I have is my grandfather came from Old Monksland, Scotland to the USA somewhere in the late 1800's. I'm guessing. The only information I have is as follows; his name was Andrew Smith Pate, his parents may have been Thomas Pate and Marion Smith. Do you have any of these names or any more information?
