John Storrie married Elizabeth Snedden in Lanark, Scotland, they had daughter Eauphiamia Storrie in 1845. James Kennedy married Mary Brittan and they had son James Kennedy, Jr. in 1841/2. Eauphiamia Storrie and James Kennedy Jr. wed in 1862 in Calderhead, Lanark, Scotland, then immigrated to the USA about 1869, where they first appear in Pennsylvania. James and a friend of his, Mr. Baxter, worked in the coal mines and travelled a lot. A son was born to Mr. Baxter and his wife in Bon Air, TN in 1889, the son was named Robert Baxter. Robert's mother died of the plague in Jefferson County, Alabama when he was just a few months old. Mr. Baxter gave his son to James and Eauphiamia Kennedy, then returned to Scotland. Robert/Bob Baxter changed his last name to Kennedy, and grew up with the Kennedy family kids in Jefferson Co, Alabama. Robert Kennedy died in 1972, and is buried in Gardendale, Jefferson County, Alabama. Bob's daughters and I are looking for clues to the names of Robert Baxter's parents, their grandparents.
